CERT Solutions are working with a three-form entry mainstream primary school in Yardley, who are searching for a  Year 5 Teacher.

This long term role, covering for maternity, is due to start after February half term and will run until at least the end of term in July.

As a full time class teacher, you have do all of the normal class teacher responsibilities including planning (PPA time given), assessment and staff meetings.

The school are ideally looking for an experienced teacher who has extensive experience in a Year 5 role and is good with behaviour, however they are willing to meet strong ECTs with relevant experience.

The salary range for this role depends on experience and would be from £162 to £223 per day.

The Role:

  • Teaching a Year 5 class with engaging and creative lesson plans
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
  • Working closely with colleagues and parents to enhance student progress

Role Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
