CERT Solutions are searching for a Level 3 Qualified teaching assistant to support a Year 2 class at a two form-entry primary school in Aston.
A ‘good’ rated school, they are looking for someone who will confidently be able to support the children in the class by utilising small group and 1:1 work. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering phonics interventions as well as the ability to support the class teacher in all other aspects of classroom management.
This is a full time, long term role, to start as soon as possible in January 2025 and will run until at least Easter half term.
Role of a Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons, conducting activities, and ensuring students are engaged and focused.
- Work with students who need extra help to understand concepts or complete tasks.
- Help with grading assignments, managing attendance records, and organizing classroom materials.
- Promote a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel encouraged to participate and learn.
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Ability to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Comfortable working with diverse learning styles and managing challenging situations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
