CERT Solutions are searching for an experienced teacher for a one-form entry primary school in the Hockley area of Birmingham.

The school are searching for someone who is comfortable teaching Year 2 and would be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment for this year group. Ideally the candidate would have a wealth of experience teaching within a Year 2 group, but the school would be willing to meet those with extensive experience in other KS1 classes.

At the moment, the school cannot accept ECTs for this role unfortunately.

This is a long term, full time position starting ASAP in January.

Salary: £160 – £220 per day PAYE

Responsibilities

  • Full class teacher role (planning, delivery and assessment)
  • Liaise with SLT to ensure the curriculum is being followed within the schools overall plan
  • Engage with parents and key adults to maximize student engagement with content

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential
  • Minimum two years experience teaching in KS1
  • Year 2 teaching experience preferred
  • ECT Signed off
