Location: In-person (4 days delivery) with 1 day remote working for marking and planning
Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Start Date: ASAP (willing to wait for the right candidate)
Holidays: 25 days (preferably taken during term time but not a requirement)
About the Role:
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality vocational training? A growing training provider in Sandwell is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Vocational Tutor to join the team. In this role, you will be delivering Level 2 Work Skills and Personal and Social Development (PSD) to learners in classes of up to 26 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across 4 days per week in-person
- Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to support student success in Work Skills and PSD
- Dedicate 1 day per week to remote marking, feedback, and planning to ensure effective delivery
- Plan and develop lessons and resources that cater to individual learning needs and encourage progression
- Support learners in developing skills for employability and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievements
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring in Work Skills and/or PSD at Level 2
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners
- An understanding of vocational education and experience working with diverse groups of students
- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
