CERT Solutions are working with mainstream primary schools across Birmingham who are searching for qualified teaching assistants to help support their children.
Currently schools are searching for individuals with a Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning who can work full time.
Ideally, candidates will have experience working closely with children SEN including ADHD, Autism and challenging behaviour. They will also be confident in taking small intervention groups outside of the classroom setting.
What’s Involved:
- Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring all students remain engaged.
- Assist with classroom management, including behavior support and creating a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students who need extra help.
- Help with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and marking simple assignments.
- Supervise children during lunch, breaks, and school trips to ensure their safety.
Requirements:
- Relevant UK qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
