Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who has supported children with SEN on a 1:1 basis?
CERT Solutions are working with a lovely, friendly primary school in the Wednesbury area that requires a patient, calm Teaching Assistant.
The child is based full-time in their mainstream classroom, but requires help to engage and progress with their learning activities. The Teaching Assistant needs to be able to provide plenty of encouragement and help the child engage with learning activities. You must be confident with your behaviour management and be able to build good relationships with children who can be challenging at times.
You must be able to integrate into a staff team easily and be a good team-player who can work effectively with the class teacher. You will be required to carry out general Teaching Assistant duties in class as well as work with the child you are supporting.
Essential requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
- Relevant qualification such as degree or TA qualification, Level 2 or Level 3
- Professional references covering the last two full years
- Teaching Assistant experience in KS2
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
