CERT Solutions are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Sutton Coldfield.
This role involves providing essential support to children, particularly those with autism, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism and other special educational needs (SEN).
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning plans.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes student independence and confidence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children, especially those with autism or other SEN.
- Minimum UK Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or similar.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
