CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions within schools!
We are working on behalf of some OFSTED rated GOOD and OUTSTANDING mainstream secondary schools across Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley & Kidderminster, who require support covering internal staff absences, or supporting on long term/fixed term assignments.
You would be covering absences in schools/a school of your choice, supporting students across your desired key stage or year group on either a flexible day cover basis, or an ongoing long term.
To be considered you must have suitable experience with children or young people in UK, as well as a Level 2 or 3 (childcare, teaching assistant, health & social care): Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted at this time.
Pay would be around £90 per day whilst working via agency, where you will be in control over what assignments you accept. Permanent positions also available for the right candidates!
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Some experience working with children or young people in UK settings
- A relevant qualification in relation to children & young people
- Clear DBS on the update service required (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one can be a university reference)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To follow the instructions of the class teacher in charge
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students in the classroom
- To provide positive behaviour management support and social development of students
- To work in partnership with parents and carers in supporting the education of their children
- To demonstrate excellent time keeping skills and attendance
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
