CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions within schools!
We are working on behalf of an OFTSED rated OUTSTANDING school in Kidderminster that require a sports coach or PE specialist to cover on a flexible or full time basis.
Working days would be between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday-Friday for full time candidates, or flexible day cover on a week by week basis.
To be considered you must have suitable experience with children or young people in UK (with ability and knowledge to plan sports lessons), as well as a relevant qualification. You do not need to have QTS for this position, however all qualified teachers will be paid to scale. Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted at this time.
Pay would be around £100-£200 per day (depending on quals/experience) whilst working via agency, where you will be in control over what assignments you accept. Permanent positions also available for the right candidates!
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Some experience teaching sports or PE to children or young people
- Comfortable teaching KS3 and KS4 students in mainstream secondary
- Clear DBS on the update service required (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one can be a university reference)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To provide positive behaviour management and social development of students
- To work in partnership with parents and carers in supporting the education of their children
- To demonstrate excellent time keeping skills and attendance
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
