SEN Teaching Assistant 
Handsworth | Full-Time or Part-Time | Starting January 2025

Cert Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming special school in Handsworth. This rewarding role involves working with children with Autism, complex needs, and some challenging behaviours. About the Role:

You will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism and complex needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you’ll provide a nurturing environment that enables each child to thrive.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism, complex needs, or challenging behaviours
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with SEN students
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
