Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school Resource Base in Erdington starting in September 2024. This is a full-time position focused on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
As part of the schools inclusive team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment tailored to meet the unique needs of our students. Your expertise will help our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with ASC.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
