CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also. We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
We are working with a mainstream primary school in the Edgbaston area that are looking for full time SEN Teaching Assistants to work in their SEND hub!
You will be supporting young students in EYFS/KS1 with additional needs within lessons lead by a class teacher, and the students all have their own EHC plan.
To be considered you must have a level 2/3 or above in teaching assistant, childcare or similar and you must have prior experiencing working with children in UK.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- A level 2/3 or above in teaching assistant, childcare or similar
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be applied for)
- Availability full time – (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30)
- Can commit to the school from January-July 2025
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support SEND students during lessons
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- To follow the instruction of the classroom teacher
