CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency, working with primary, secondary, SEN/PRU settings across Birmingham, Sandwell and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for a strong and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for a special school near the Erdington area who is available to take on a new challenge from January 2025. The school are looking for someone who can offer full class support as well as one to one with a young boy with Autism who is in Year 7.  The Headteacher has requested someone who is resilient with experience and understanding of Autism. Someone who is able to pick up and observe triggers that encourage challenging behaviour is required, the Headteacher requires someone who is pro-active rather than reactive.

The role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant
  • KS3
  • Full time / Permanent
  • Autism
  • Full class support and 1:1
  • January 2025 start

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience special schools
  • SEN school experience required
