CERT Solutions are looking for an SEN TA for a secondary special school based in the Erdington area. The role is full time and long term with the hope to go temp to perm for the right person. You will be supporting students with Autism and complex needs. Most students within the classroom are verbal with one of them with little communication.
A couple of the students in the classroom can show challenging behaviours, this behaviour isn’t targeted behaviour as it stems from their frustration in communication and needs. Someone understanding with empathy and a caring nature would be suited for this position.
The role:
- SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism and complex needs)
- Erdington (secondary SEN)
- Must be available full time
- 8:30am – 3:30pm
- ASAP start
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in childcare
- SEN School experience or experience in residential
- Able to commit to full time and long term work
