CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas supporting the full staffing within schools.
We are currently working with a large but lovely SEN setting near Handsworth that are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to join the team on a long term basis, starting ASAP.
To be considered you must have experience working with children or young people with SEN in a UK setting (references required). You will also require QTS/QTLS or equivalent.
The pay for this position is expected to be between £165-£200 per day.
About the role:
- SEN Teacher (Ks3/4 – working at KS1 level)
- SEN setting near Handsworth
- ASAP start – long term ongoing position
- Full Time via agency (8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri)
- £165-£200 per day – paid weekly
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- UK QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification required
- Knowledge of SEND and happy to teach in a special educational needs school
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should be childcare or education based)
- Availability to work between 8:30-3:30 (Monday – Friday)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support primary students with additional needs during lessons
- Following instructions from the class teacher in charge
- Support whole class, as well as some small group work
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
