We are offering a great opportunity for an SEN Primary Teacher who wants to have the opportunity to work within a school 5 days a week and who is skilled at developing creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children are listened to, respected and involved as much as possible.
We are looking for a Teacher experienced in teaching a range of subjects and who has experience teaching Special need’s children. The right candidate need’s to have worked with children with autism in a specialist setting as well as experience of using communication aids as well as SCERTS targets.
Qualified Teacher Status is a must as well as being calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN environment is a must, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Essential:
QTS
Experience of working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC
Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour
The school is a Dudley based school and is looking for someone to start after the Easter Holiday or before for the right Candidate.
