CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency, working with primary, secondary, SEN/PRU settings across Birmingham, Sandwell and surrounding areas.

We are currently working with a special school in the Erdington area who are looking for an SEN Teacher for a maternity cover to start in January 2025. The school cater for secondary age pupils with Autism, some of the pupils can display challenging behaviours so de-escalation techniques would be useful for this post. The Headteacher would like to meet potential candidates in November and offer a walk around the school. The class consists of KS3 and KS4 pupils with a wide range of needs.  Having someone with previous experience of working in a special school is preferred for this post.

The role:

  • SEN Teacher
  • KS3 & KS4
  • Full time – Maternity Cover
  • Low ability to entry level
  • January 2025 start

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in primary, secondary or SEN/PRU schools
  • SEN experience required
