CERT Solutions are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join the Autism Resource Base within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Sparkbrook.
This is a rewarding four-day-per-week role (Monday to Thursday), with the opportunity to grow into a long-term position for the right candidate.
The school are looking for candidates with multiple years experience teaching children with Autism and ADHD within SEN schools or resources bases. Unfortunately, without this experience, you will not be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons and interventions to meet the needs of children with autism.
- Support the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on progress and strategies for home support.
- Manage and support a small group of pupils, ensuring their safety, engagement, and positive behavior.
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies to suit varying abilities and sensory needs.
- Contribute to the wider school community and the development of the Autism Resource Base.
