Description
CERT Solutions are currently seeking a dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) Teacher to help support our vibrant SEN school based in Erdington. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity for an experienced teacher passionate about working with students who have complex and profound learning needs.
This position is a part time position, working across 3 days per week (8:30-3:30) and is due to start immediately. A DBS on the update service is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored and engaging lessons to students with PMLD (primary and/or secondary classes).
- Plan and adapt learning activities to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Collaborate closely with support staff within the classroom to create a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor student progress, completing necessary documentation and assessments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching students with PMLD and complex SEN needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a calming nature.
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for making a positive impact in students’ lives.
