Description
Cert solutions are currently on the lookout for a SEN teacher for a primary ASD class. The class has 8 pupils that range from Year 2 to 6. Most are non-verbal and all have a diagnosis of ASD and or communication and language difficulties. All are working well below their chronological ages. Some can present with challenging behaviours as well.
The ideal teacher needs to have experience of working within a specialist setting and with pupils with ASD and complex needs. They need to preferably be familiar with the phonics scheme Little Wandle and have used SCERTS to support communication and interaction. The successful candidate also needs to have innovative in their approach to engage the pupils and who is resilient.

Essential:
- QTS
- Experience of working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC
- Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
