CERT Solutions are searching for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Ladywood. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting two wonderful pupils with autism.

Role Details:

  • Morning: Work 1:1 with a Year 4 boy who has autism, supporting his academic and social development.
  • Afternoon: Work 1:1 with a Year 6 boy with autism, helping him navigate his learning and emotional needs.

This role is full days Monday to Thursday and a half day on Friday, starting in Mid-march 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to meet each child’s individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement personalized strategies.

About You:

  • Relevant Level 3 UK Qualification
  • Minimum 6 months UK school experience
  • Previous experience working with children with autism within schools is essential.
  • Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting children’s development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
