CERT Solutions are recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely one-form entry primary school in Handsworth.
The role will be supporting two autistic boys (Year 2 age) who primarily spend time in the nursery, working alongside another TA to provide tailored support.
This is to start ASAP and is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM. It would also be long term until end of the academic year
Requirements
- Experience working with children with autism and additional needs (preferred)
- Level 3 Qualification in a relevant area (i.e. Supporting Teaching and Learning)
- A patient, understanding, and caring approach
- Ability to adapt activities and use strategies to support learning and emotional regulation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
