CERT Solutions are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join mainstream primary schools in the Handsworth area.
This full-time role involves providing tailored support to students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), ensuring that they keep engaged in all learning activities.
This role is to commence in January 2025 and will be a long term role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with ADHD on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Assisting class teachers in creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom.
- Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
- Relevant UK Level 2 or 3 Qualification.
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferably ADHD).
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
