CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
We are working with an OFSTED rated GOOD special school near Sutton Coldfield, that require ASD/SEMH support staff (flexible or full time) within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes.
The position will be to start after Feb half term, on a long term ongoing basis (potentially permanent for right candidate).Pay expected to be around £90-£95 per day.
To be considered you must have a experience working with special educational needs (any ages), with a calming nature and good understanding of SEND.
Please note that only candidates with suitable experience will be considered for this post, and must hold a suitable UK level 2/3/degree qualification (TA, education or childcare).
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- A UK L2 or L3 qualification or above (TA, education, childcare, health and social care)
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
- Availability to work between 8:30-3:30 – Monday – Friday (or we have flexi shifts available)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support primary students during lessons with SEND
- Must be comfortable proving personal care to young students
- Following instructions from the class teacher in charge
- Support whole class, as well as some small group work with ASD
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
