CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
We are working with an OFSTED rated GOOD primary school in Aston, that require SEN HLTA’s (full time long term) to work in a brand new resource base.
These positions are starting after Feb half term or Easter. Pay expected to be around £100-£110 per day whilst working via agency, permanent positions may arise for right candidate.
To be considered you must have a experience working with children/young people in the UK, ideally within a school setting, but similar experience considered.
Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience will be considered for this post, and must hold a suitable UK HLTA qualification.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
- Suitable means to travel to the Aston area on a long term basis
- Full time availability (8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri)
Your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting SEN students in mainstream
- To contribute to the smooth running of the SEN resource base
- Working in smaller groups or 1-1 with primary SEN students
- Follow instructions from class teacher
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
