CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas supporting the full staffing within schools.
We are currently working with a warm and welcoming mainstream primary school near Saltley that are looking for a qualified teaching assistant to join the team on a long term basis, starting ASAP. This role would be based in their new resource base working with students with social, emotional and mental health in small groups.
To be considered you must have a experience working with children or young people in a UK setting (reference required). You will also require a UK Level 2 or 3 or above in childcare, teaching assistant, education or similar. The pay for this position is expected to be between £85-£95 per day.

- Mainstream primary near Saltley
- ASAP start – long term ongoing position
- Full Time via agency (8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri)
- £85-£95 per day – paid weekly
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- A UK Level 2/3 or above teaching assistant qualification or similar (childcare/education)
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should be childcare or education based)
- Availability to work between 8:30-3:30 (Monday – Friday)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support primary students with additional needs during lessons
- Following instructions from the class teacher in charge
- Support whole class, as well as some small group work
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
