CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also. We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
We are working with a mainstream secondary school near Aston, that are looking for a full time Science Teacher to teach lessons to KS3/KS4.
To be considered you must have knowledge of UK curriculum and prior experiencing teaching/tutoring students in the UK.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent with a relevant degree
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be applied for)
- Availability full time – (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30)
- Experience teaching KS3/KS4 science
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach science to KS3/KS4 students in the school
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- To track the development of students in the class
- Planning and marking
