Our education agency is recruiting for a qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to join one of our reputable partner schools. Not only this, we have 3 roles to choose from!

The roles focus on teaching science at the secondary level, to engage students aged 11-16 (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4). You’ll play a vital role in fostering curiosity and developing students’ skills in scientific thinking, critical analysis, and experimental methods.

All three schools that we are working with are looking for a teacher to start from January 2025. All 3 schools are based in South Birmingham! Please call for more details on specific locations.

As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging science lessons: Using interactive teaching strategies to make science accessible and enjoyable.
  • Planning and adapting curriculum content: Developing lessons that meet national standards and inspire interest in physics and general science.
  • Promoting scientific skills: Encouraging students to question, experiment, and understand scientific principles through hands-on learning and practical applications.
  • Supporting student growth: Providing tailored guidance to support the progress of students with different learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Assessment and feedback: Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their improvement and understanding.
  • Classroom management: Establishing a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages participation and respect.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialization in Physics or a strong background in the subject area
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with young people
  • A passion for science and education, with a commitment to inspiring students
