As a PPA Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the curriculum across different year groups and providing cover for teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
- Following and adapting existing lesson plans to meet the needs of different classes
- Providing support and guidance to students to ensure they make progress in their learning
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and recording achievements
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching and learning
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in primary schools
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to work across different year groups
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
