CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a special school around the Stechford area who require a full-time PE Teacher.
About the role
The role is a temporary position as its covering an absent member of staff. You will only be required to teach KS1-KS3.
A Bit about the school:
The school is a SEMH school based in the South side of Birmingham near Stechford.
Pay:
£160-£220
What you’ll Do:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs
- Implement behavior management strategies to support students’ emotional regulation and social skills
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Encourage participation in physical activities that promote mental well-being, teamwork, and confidence.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on PE (QTS)
- A strong background in PE and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
