CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions within schools!
We are working on behalf of a lovely OFSTED rated OUTSTANDING mainstream secondary school in Sandwell, that is looking for a KS3/KS4 Mathematics Teacher.
This position would be due to start ASAP or after Easter on a long term ongoing basis, working across 4-5 days per week (part time and full time candidates are being considered).
To be considered you must have suitable experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to young people in the UK, with a Maths related degree and ideally QTS/QTLS. Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience and qualifications will be considered for these posts. Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted at this time.
Pay would be around £165-£210 per day whilst working via agency depending on pay scale, paid PAYE on a weekly basis. Permanent positions potentially available for right candidate!
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Experience teaching Mathematics to KS3, KS4 or KS5 in UK
- A suitable mathematics related qualification – ideally with QTS/QTLS
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To plan high quality Maths lessons to KS3, KS4 and/or KS5 students
- To provide positive behaviour management and social development of students
- To work in partnership with parents and carers in supporting the education of their children
- To demonstrate excellent time keeping skills and attendance
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
