CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also. We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and surrounding areas.
We are working with many schools, that are looking for support on a flexible or long term basis. They may also have permanent positions available for the right candidates!
To be considered you must have a experience working in UK schools or childcare settings, a UK level 2/3 or degree qualification in teaching assistant/childcare or similar. These shifts are to start from January 2025 and you will be in control over what assignments you accept on a weekly basis.
Whether you want to stay put at one school on a long term basis, or have the flexibility to support at various schools without the commitment we can help find your ideal role.
The schools you will have the option of working in are EYFS (under 5), primary (4-11), secondary (11-16), special educational needs (2-19), PRU (11-16) and FE (16-19) settings across Birmingham, Sandwell or Dudley areas.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- UK level 2/3 or degree qualification in teaching assistant/childcare or similar
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be applied for at a fee)
- Experience working with children or young people in the UK
- References that cover the past two years (for students college/uni refs accepted)
- Availability to work between 8:30-3:30 (1-5 days per week – you choose)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To teach students to a high standard in mainstream secondary
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- Cover class teacher absences (could be short or long term)
