CERT Solutions are proudly working in partnership with a well-respected school in Birmingham, and they require a full-time or part time(3 days per week), long-term Mathematics Teacher to join their outstanding faculty.
This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Mathematics and can inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for the subject.
A Bit about the school:
The school is a fantastic secondary based in the North side of Birmingham. They are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as on site parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 (£162 – £251 per day PAYE)
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative KS5 mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for mathematics.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on Mathematics (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS).
- A strong background in Mathematics and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
