CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
We are working with an OFSTED rated GOOD secondary school near Smethwick, that require flexible teachers (flexible or full time) within KS3/4 or 5 classes.
The shifts will be available to pick up after Feb half term and you are able to pick and choose the days you would like to accept bookings. Pay expected to be around £165-£225 per day.
To be considered you must have a experience working with children/young people in UK, ideally within a school setting, but similar experience such as tutoring considered.
Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience will be considered for this post, and must hold a suitable UK teaching qualification.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- A UK degree or teaching qualification – ideally with QTS/QTLS or similar
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
- Suitable means to travel in or around Handsworth area
Your responsibilities will be:
- Teaching mainstream secondary students (various subjects available)
- Planning/marking (not all schools require this however)
- Able to instruct any support staff within the room
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
