Description
CERT Solutions are searching for an experienced KS2 teacher to support a two-form entry mainstream primary school in Birmingham, starting January 2025.
To be successful within the role, you will have experience teaching across KS2 or extensive experience within one KS2 class. You must be prepared to complete planning for lessons alongside your year group partner and will be responsible for marking and assessments.
This is a full time role so you will need to be available Monday to Friday from January until the end of term in July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- UK QTS is essential
- Proven experience teaching in KS2 or similar primary school age groups.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student achievement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
