Are you passionate about technology and education? We’re looking for a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in Walsall. If you have experience in SQL, Microsoft InTune, and SCCM, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and students, ensuring seamless operation of school systems.
- Database Management: Maintain and manage school databases using SQL, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Device Management: Administer devices using Microsoft InTune, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- System Deployment: Utilize SCCM for software updates, imaging, and deployment across the school’s IT infrastructure.
- Network and Security: Assist with maintaining a secure and efficient network environment, including routine checks and troubleshooting.
- Training and Collaboration: Work closely with staff to provide training and advice on the use of technology in teaching and administration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL for database management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft InTune for device management.
- Familiarity with SCCM for systems deployment and updates.
- Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to support non-technical users.
