CERT Solutions are working with a fantastic secondary school based in Solihull who are looking for a full time teacher of History
About the role
The role is a full time teaching position, delivering History to KS3 and KS4. As it is a full time role and not just covering an absent member of staff, there may be perm opportunities available from Easter or September!

The school is a large secondary based in Solihull. They are rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as onsite parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 (£162 – £251 per day PAYE) depending on your current pay grade
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative KS3 & 4 History lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for mathematics.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on History (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in History and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
