CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity as it is a PERM role!

It is a great secondary with welcoming and supportive departments. The successful teacher will work alongside a brilliant department head and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4.

Start Date: January 2025

End date: PERM

Interviews will take place ASAP however, the head teacher has stated they will wait for the ideal candidate!

The desired teacher will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students. This role would be suitable for ECT’s as well as experienced teachers.

The successful teacher will essentially have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of teaching Geography up to KS5
  • Have a real passion for your subject that you can instill into your pupils
  • NQT teachers are welcome to apply
  • Clear DBS on the update service

Your responsibilities will be:

  • To teach students to a high standard
  • To support the other members of staff at the school
  • Follow the behavioral policies set by the school
  • Assessing, marking, and planning lesson for the students
  • Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
