We are currently recruiting for General Cover Teachers who are happy to work in Kingswinford. As a General Cover Teacher you will be expecting to control classroom behaviour and enhance children’s learning as much as you can.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging curriculum based lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the class you are covering
- No planning or marking required for ad hoc or short term roles
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students
- Ensure the emotional well-being and academic development of pupils in your care
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have equivalent qualifications
- Have experience teaching primary age groups
- Be able to deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects in the primary curriculum
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleague
- Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently
