CERT Solutions are working in partnership with a large secondary school in South Birmingham who require a full-time French Teacher to join their outstanding faculty after February half term
About the role
The role is a long term supply teacher position with a view of temp to perm from the new academic year. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 French. You would also be required to plan and mark lessons in line with the national curriculum. This may be the perfect opportunity for an ECT as well as well-established teacher.
A Bit about the school:
The school is a large secondary based in the South side of Birmingham near Bartley Green. They are rated Good by Ofsted and have great transport links as well as onsite parking.
Pay:
Paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3 (£162 – £251 per day PAYE) depending on your current pay grade
What you’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative KS3 & 4 French lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Supportive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to contribute to the school’s vibrant academic community.
- Be a mentor and guide for students, nurturing their curiosity and love for mathematics.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification with a focus on MFL (Bachelor’s in Education, PGCE, or QTS or QTLS).
- A strong background in French and a deep understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to continually improve teaching practices.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
