CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions within schools!
We are working on behalf of an OFSTED rated OUTSTANDING mainstream secondary school near Aston, looking for a full time French Teacher (or Instructor).
The schools is close to public transport routes for those who travel by bus/train, and also has a private car park for those of you who commute by car.
To be considered you must have suitable experience teaching or tutoring young people French in the UK (ideally GCSE/Alevel), with a suitable teaching qualification and ideally QTS/QTLS or PTTLS. Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience and qualifications will be considered for these posts. Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted at this time.
Pay would be around £162-£220 per day whilst working via agency, where you would be based at the school on a full time basis. (School may consider 4 day week).
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Experience teaching French to KS3, KS4 in UK
- A suitable PGCE qualification – ideally with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
Your responsibilities will be:
- To plan high quality French lessons to KS3 and KS4
- To provide positive behaviour management and social development of students
- To work in partnership with parents and carers in supporting the education of their children
- To demonstrate excellent time keeping skills and attendance
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
