About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to work on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to delivering engaging lessons that ignite creativity and passion for food and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a love for cooking, nutrition, and healthy living among students.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting hands-on skills development.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to their overall academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Food Technology curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism or experience in teaching Food Technology.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A creative approach to teaching with a focus on practical learning.
- A team player who is committed to the school’s ethos and values.
