Are you a passionate and experienced Food Technology teacher looking to inspire the next generation of culinary talent? CERT Solutions are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our secondary school in Sandwell on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Food Technology to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
- Inspire a love of cooking and nutrition, fostering creativity and practical skills.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
- Support students in both theory and practical aspects of food technology, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous teaching experience in Food Technology at the secondary level is required.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of student achievement.
- Passionate about promoting healthy eating, food safety, and nutrition education.
