Location: You must be able to travel to Birmingham as required.

About the Role
As a School Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our schools. From managing budgets to overseeing compliance, your expertise will ensure the smooth and efficient financial management of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and report on school budgets and financial performance.
- Process invoices, payroll, and financial transactions with accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for stakeholders, including governors and senior leaders.
- Work collaboratively with school leadership to optimize financial resources.
- Travel to Birmingham and other locations as required to provide hands-on support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: A recognized financial qualification (e.g., AAT, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in finance, preferably within the education or public sector.
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel to Birmingham and work full-time hours, starting January 2025.
