We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant at our vibrant school in Smethwick.
This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for early childhood education and possesses specific experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering educational activities and structured play, tailored to EYFS and SEN requirements.
- Support individual children with SEN, ensuring their educational and developmental needs are met.
- Collaborate with EYFS teachers and SEN coordinators to implement effective learning plans.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all children.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required to enhance professional development and contribute to the school ethos.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant within an EYFS setting.
- Specific experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare, Education or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with young learners.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the principles of equality and diversity.
All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
