CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
We are working with some GOOD and OUTSTANDING mainstream secondary schools and colleges that will soon require seasonal exam staff.
The main duties of an exam invigilator is to ensure no cheating or malpractice takes place at any point within the examination hall. Pay between £13-£15ph.
You will get to pick your own shifts once exam timetables have been received, we get in full day bookings (6 hours) as well as half day bookings (3-4 hours).
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Relevant or similar experience (exams, tutoring, library, admin)
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- The ability to monitor students attendance and behaviour in exam room carefully
Your responsibilities will be:
- Helping support secondary or FE settings during the exam seasons
- Having the ability to verify that all required exam materials are present and correct
- Distribute exam papers and other required materials to those sitting the exam
- Check-in those completing the exam to ensure they are present
- Ensure no mobile phones are used and ensure no cheating or malpractice takes place
