Are you an experienced and dedicated Full Time English Teacher with a passion for making a positive impact on students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team at a small secondary school in Walsall, where your skills and enthusiasm will contribute to the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with SEMH.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to support various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment to promote the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting SEMH students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing intervention strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in English and experience teaching students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies to support students.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • DBS on the update service is required, or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
  • Right to work in the UK, as well as evidence of UK school experience.
  • Available to start ASAP
