CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions within schools!
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
Agency is a great way for new teachers to explore local schools before committing to just one. As you gain exposure within schools of interest, you will find they tend to keep on preferred teachers long term, fixed term contracts or on a permanent basis.
More and more ECT’s are choosing to go via agency to know exactly what working in a particular school feels like before applying direct. You are also able to carry on applying for other permanent positions whilst working with us. We are working with an OFSTED rated GOOD and OUTSTANDING schools that require teachers for various assignments.
With agency you are able to be in control over the days you work, the assignments you accept and the schools you commit to. £162-£182 per day, you would be paid on a weekly basis.
To be considered you must have some experience teaching children/young people in the UK, ideally within a school setting, but similar experience considered.
Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience and qualifications (QTS/QTLS) will be considered for this post. Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Experience teaching in the UK (primary, secondary, FE)
- PGCE with QTS/QTLS or similar
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
- Full time or part time availability
Your responsibilities will be:
- Teaching a class of students (age of your choice)
- To instruct all support staff within the classroom
- To plan for lessons and mark work of students
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
