CERT Solutions are working with a secondary school based in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Design & Technology Technician. It is an outstanding secondary with fantastic DT resources. The successful Technician will work alongside a fantastic team of staff and support in the preparation and safety of the Department.
Start Date: ASAP
End date: July 2025
Interviews will take place ASAP. Initially a full day in the school as well as an interview will take place.
The desired technician will have strong values and a dedication to safeguarding to all students.
The successful teacher will essentially have:
- Degree qualification or higher
- Experience of working within a secondary or FE setting
- Clear DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will be:
- To support the department teachers setting up the classroom
- To support students if needed
- Follow the behavioral policies set by the school
- Ordering stock for the DT Department
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
- Ensuring a safe working environment
