CERT Solutions are working in partnership with an alternative provision in Quinton, Birmingham who require a full-time Attendance officer to join their school.
About the role
The role is a temporary position covering an absent staff member. You will be required to support students in KS4 and KS5.
Pay:
From £16 – £16 per hour
What you’ll Do:
- Monitoring and managing student attendance records.
- Supporting students and families to overcome barriers to attendance.
- Working closely with school staff to implement attendance strategies.
- Liaising with external agencies where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or within an educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A strong commitment to helping young people succeed.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
