CERT Solutions are a family run 5* education agency that specialise in flexible day cover, short/long term roles, as well as fixed term contracts and permanent positions also.
We work with a mix of primary, secondary, PRU and SEN settings across Birmingham/Sandwell/Dudley and other surrounding areas to fill vacancies within education.
We are working with an OFSTED rated GOOD secondary school near Moseley, that require a 1-1 TA to work within a mainstream class but helping support one student in particular.
This position is due to start after Feb half term (last week in Feb) and the pay is expected to be around £90-£100 per day. You would be paid on a weekly basis.
To be considered you must have some experience working with children/young people with SEN in the UK, ideally within a school setting, but similar experience considered.
Please note that only candidates with suitable UK experience and qualifications will be considered for this post. Unsuitable candidates will not be contacted.
The successful candidate will essentially have:
- Experience working with secondary students in UK
- Clear DBS on the update service (If not, a DBS can be processed for a fee)
- 2 references that cover the past two years (one should ideally be childcare or education based)
- Suitable means to travel to the Moseley area on a long term basis
- Full time availability (8:30-3:15 Mon-Fri)
Your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting SEN student in mainstream secondary setting
- Working in smaller groups or 1-1 with secondary SEN students
- Follow instructions from class teacher within the classroom
- Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
- Ensuring the safeguarding of pupils always
